May was all about big challenges and big milestones. We created 100 playable ads for charity in record time, celebrated Elina’s first book release, and once again put our AI workflows to the test in real production.

Challenge For Charity: We Created 100 Ads in Just 7.5 Hours!
We challenged our team to create 100 playable ads in a single day using our PlayablesAI tool. Ambitious? Definitely. But we didn’t want to “just make ads.” We wanted to use the challenge to do some good too.
That’s why we teamed up with two Finnish charity organizations: SOS-Lapsikylä and Sekasin Kollektiivi.
SOS-Lapsikylä supports vulnerable children, young people, and families in Finland and around the world. Sekasin Kollektiivi is a network focused on youth mental wellbeing, built around one important mission: no young person should be left alone with their distress.
Both organizations shared the themes they wanted to highlight through playable ads.
SOS-Lapsikylä wanted to raise awareness for their Kannatellaan campaign, which encourages people to support children and families through volunteering, donations, or partnerships.
Sekasin Kollektiivi focused on their anonymous Sekasin-chat for young people, a low-threshold support channel available directly through your phone. This year also marks Sekasin’s 10th anniversary, and during their birthday week from 31.5. to 6.6., the chat stays open 24/7 so no one has to be alone.
Then it was time to build.
Each team member brought their own creative twist while PlayablesAI did the heavy lifting. What traditionally could have taken days, weeks, or even months was now happening in minutes. Our first playable of the day was ready almost immediately.
And by the end of it all?
We hit 100 playable ads in just 7.5 hours. Read that again: 100 playable ads. In just 7.5 hours. If that isn’t a record, I don’t know what is!
What started as 100 Ads in a Day became more like 100 Ads in a Working Day. Or honestly… 100 Ads in Hours.

My Startup Diary: Elina’s First Book Is Out

As we teased in our April newsletter, this month turned out to be monumental not only for our company, but especially for our CEO Elina Arponen, who officially published her very first book: My Startup Diary.
And honestly, if there’s someone in the Finnish startup scene with stories worth telling, it’s Elina. With over 20 years of experience in games and interactive media, including more than 15 years as a founder and CEO, she has seen the highs, lows, chaos, and reality of startup life up close.
My Startup Diary follows the journey of Elina’s first startup, Tribe Studios, and the honest lessons learned along the way. The book is a raw, first-hand account of building a startup from the inside. Through a mix of storytelling and personal reflections, it captures what the journey really feels like: the urgency, uncertainty, small wins that feel huge, and setbacks that hit harder than expected.
Readers will get an honest look into early-stage startup life, the decisions that worked (and the ones that definitely didn’t), and the psychological side of being a founder: pressure, identity, resilience, and learning to keep going.
With the book, Elina hopes to inspire anyone who has ever dreamed about starting a company, or is already in the middle of building one, to take the leap and go for it.
May was all about pushing limits, sharing stories, and proving what’s possible when creativity meets AI.
From creating 100 playable ads for charity in just 7.5 hours, to celebrating Elina’s first book release, this month reminded us that technology is at its best when it helps people, sparks ideas, and inspires others to take action.
And on a more personal note, this will actually be my last newsletter for a little while as I’m heading off to parental leave. 👶
